The Liv Fit team is very excited to announce their partnership with Dr. Neal Alpiner in the development of Med Fit kid program which will be launched September 2009.
Medfit kid fitness programs will offers fitness solutions for three different streams.
1. Weight loss management: In the wake of childhood obesity at epidemic levels Med Fit online fitness training offers an innovative and educational fitness program for both parent and child. Together you and your child will journey together towards a healthier lifestyle.
2. Sport specific: When it comes to training children for sports you cannot take the view that children are just mini adults. Children’s physical bodies have very specific and changing needs as they develop into adulthood. Med Fit Kid fitness program has been designed to provide a safe and effective training program for kids looking for a competitive edge.
3. Autism:
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Alpiner, received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and went on to receive his Medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine. Dr. Alpiner’s post graduate training was completed at the Detroit Medical Center where he received dual degrees in Pediatrics, from Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Rehabilitation of Michigan. Dr. Alpiner received the Lender F. Bender Award for his post-graduate work for exception accomplishment during training.
Dr.Alpiner is Double Board Certified in Pediatrics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Since 1996 he has served as Medical Director of the Department of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Beaumont Children’s Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
As a Pediatric and Adult Neuroscientist, Dr. Alpiner, has devoted his career to identifying how the brain adapts and reacts to stressors and then developing treatment options for children and adults so they can regain and attain motor, cognitive and sensory success.
Dr. Alpiner has special interest in: Pediatric and Adult Neurological Disorders, Pediatric Motor and Sensory Processing Disorders and Pediatric Sports Medicine.
